i understand the original press release gave the wrong idea and that disappointing to some but this is not a career doc. it is not a retelling of the career arc of Kanye its a story of Coodie and Chike's experiences and friendship with Kanye over this time.

They decided to start filming this dude out of Chicago who seemed like he could do notable things someday and he ended up being one of the greatest artists of the century. During this period they fell off as friends with him and picked back up to see what changed and where he's at now

This isn't the only doc that will ever release. If someone wants 08-15, push for Kanye to do something about it. He owns footage too

Kanye has been apart of promoting this over the months. He didn't even mention the filmmakers in that post and now it seems like people are targeting Netflix who didn't even make the doc. People will just wanna watch more now
