Underrated album. Listened to "Wouldn't Leave" last night driving in the rain and got in my feelings, but in a good way.
"Oh, don't bring that up, that's gon' get me sentimental
You know I'm sensitive, I got a gentle mental
Every time somethin' happen they want me sent to mental
We had an incident, but I cover incidentals
You want me workin' on my messagin'
When I'm thinkin' like George Jetson
But soundin' like George Jefferson"
These are f***ing BARS my guy I never appreciated this verse until I sat and listened to it. The first 4 especially are hard asl . Revisiting this album I feel like I gave it a bad first take, especially since KSG came out like a week later.
it's great but his weakest. JIK is better
JIK had like two good songs
Wish KSG got the same amount of d*** sucking this weak ass album gets
Wish KSG got the same amount of d*** sucking this weak ass album gets
Wym the majority of people love KSG.
Most people put Ye just above JIK for worst Ye album
wouldn't leave is one of the best songs he's done
not even the best song off that mid ass album
Wym the majority of people love KSG.
Most people put Ye just above JIK for worst Ye album
Just seems like I see a lot it “ye appreciation” posts or revisionist history when KSG dropped the same summer and is imo the far far better album
The “how swae how ye” bar is deep if you really think about it a lot of great ye lines on here
Wish KSG got the same amount of d*** sucking this weak ass album gets
It gets way more what are you talking about
wouldn't leave is one of the best songs he's done
You want me workin' on my messagin'
When I'm thinkin' like George Jetson
But soundin' like George Jefferson
I got the mind state to take us past the stratosphere
I use the same attitude that done got us here
I live for now, I don't know what happen after here
