Contractually finessing a mentally Ill man after a change in ownership (Ye signed on when Wexler ran adidas and things clearly went sour after he left) is ugly, it was either lose the right to his namesake and legal freedom to create, or lose the designs that brought adidas so much money, with no payout
Man got loopholed into a lose-lose situation for parting ways
