I don't hate donda, loved it when it came out, and probably just overplayed it.
but it's a very 'safe' Ye album and would be a lot better without the forced religious themes and church organs

JeffersonSteelflexYeās biggest issue is that heās not challenged by anyone.
He doesnāt have people that HE looks up to or is inspired by to challenge him as an artist on a technical level. Being influenced by Carti isnāt going to make Ye a better artist and until he gets with talent that can push him lyrically and sonically, itāll always be a mixed bag of edgy trap music with the 1 or 2 gems
I wouldnāt say heās that horrible but I do sort of see what youāre saying, thereās nobody to inspire musically really just in terms of aura
Like his aesthetics have stayed consistently top notch even while the music isnāt as perfect
