@Extraterrestrial
Hmmm
itās so funny looking back on these vids and thinking back to how we really thought we were getting a tlop/dark fantasy hybrid album after hearing 20 secs of Slide playing in a club and then we got this

ended up being the worst, most uninspired era
Imagine thinking back to me, River, time moving slow, hoodrat, and more are uninspiring.

Idk but Slide is amazing

Trash?
Boring maybe but trash lol?
Trash?
Boring maybe but trash lol?
Yeah. That was a great track from Cole despite it being a bit derivative due to everyone and their mother already spitting on Dead Presidents(incl. Cole before this).
Y'all think this'll be conceptual?

He overcooks the album and adds. Too much s*** like he about to start doing with this one right about now
If the album title changes then its gonna be a typical mash up post 2015 Ye album lol
Husband is good but kinda a nothing burger. The instrumental is bare, the lyrics are vapid, the singing is kinda phoned-in; it's banking on vibes alone.
I def fw it more than I did upon release. All of V2 has grown on me.

Back 2 me and slide great lol but yes

Y'all think this'll be conceptual?
Yes. Every Kanye album is inherently conceptual, given their subject matter and their role within Ye's overall discography. At its core, each Ye project serves as a chapter in Kanye's "Hero's Journey," building upon each other and contributing to an overarching narrativeāa creative retelling of Kanye's life through the medium of music. Each Ye project uses unique visuals, themes, and sound palettes to create a snapshot of Kanye's life, mental state, and views of the world at that given time. In this way, every Ye album was, is, and always will be a concept album.
Ye's discography tells the story of a gifted musician who, despite being underestimated by his peers in his early career, goes on to become a leading innovator in his field. During the height of his career, he's faced with tragedy, which invariably leads him to fall into depression and addiction. He chooses to channel his tragedy into his newer works, which receive critical acclaim upon their release. His ability to channel tragedy into a creative force proved to be a useful tool but also caused him to fall deeper into his addictive nature. His addictions, high-profile lifestyle, and deteriorating mental health eventually cause him to have a mental breakdown, which in turn leads to his decision to give his life to God. He begins to focus his art on God, Christianity, and spirituality, but his life continues to fall apart, which causes his faith to waiver and eventually leads him to revert back to an addiction-fueled life of debauchery. This is where we're at in the Kanye West lore.
TL;DR: Even if Bully is not a concept album in the conventional sense, it will continue Kanye's re-telling of his life story in real time and be another chapter in the "Kanye West Saga."
