I think you're putting too much onus on individual listeners, and their part in undervaluing music. I agree that streaming and the way in which listeners interact with those platforms has a big part in it, but a majority of the blame should be placed on distributors, music agencies, streaming conglomerates, etc. (the industry).

In the modern world, the individual has little to no ability to make sweeping change. If you believe it's the responsibility of the listener to appreciate the value of music as a means of encouraging musicians to not use ai, we would have to unify and preform a historic revolt against the labels, which will never happen. All these companies are in bed with each other, and in order to buck the current system within the music industry, we would have to overturn the entire American-capitalist system as a whole.
