I'm deadass, I hate the s*** he does with The Weeknd, specially mix wise (The Weeknd's mixes were so much cleaner before). Plus his output on Ye stuff was just decreasing more and more since 2018 even before he completely stopped working with him. He had like one prod credit on JIK and it was the worst song imo.
His version of Donda 2 that leaked late last year was also mid.

People are coping thinking addition of Mike Dean is magically gonna solve the problems they have with Ye's music.

His mixes suck but I think for a lot of fans him being brought in signifies a return to some more refined musicality, more effort, more fleshed out songs etc. i think Kanye sucks too much nowadays for that to take shape, and Mike himself has been around for some pretty bad albums and songs, but yeah.
