so if another rapper writes the whole verse for Ye, then he records it in his voice, then puts an AI filter over it, what do you make of it

Using AI of your own voice seems like possibly the only "ethical" use of AI, but more than unethical it just comes across as silly to use it when you're spending months in a studio already, but I think its proof of a more principled approach than all the AI generated artwork or verses themselves

I haven't watched the interview or heard him expand on it though so this is just my immediate thought on it

I don't hold Ye in the same space as really expressive artists anymore (not since JIK has the messaging been the focal point), he's someone obsessed with mediums and how something is made so using AI feels like an obvious next step and I'm not disappointed or surprised by it
