Too fragmented/edited for a guy that relies on stream of consciousness to make his wide ranging connections and end up conveying his most compelling ideas. Doesnt feel like a ye interview at all
Idk what gave him the idea that he has to drop bars. It was never about that. Those low iq Drink Champs and their constant applause after each remark probably shifted something.
This feels like he doesnt have the same strength of convictions anymore, is kinda lost with where he is at with his ideas, and trying to compensate by going ye-hard
Compare this to the wyoming charlemagne interview in '18
I deserve op be mentioning matrix @sab
So he confirmed the folk who ssy don't do AI album just mske him want to do it more due to autism yall sicken me
I think that interview was dope. I hate the AI s***, especially for vocals, but if it is used to isolate stems etc. then okay I guess
why do you hate it? are you a boomer?
how have I not seen this until now
I have an appreciation for the surrealist abstract vibe of AI videos like 530, and I think it works for making songs like 530 sound more dreamlike and drowsy
this could all be done without the use of AI but its use feels very timely at least this album cycle
so I like it as an aesthetic choice but I hate it for artists trying to be polished or be deemed "objectively good" which is what 99% of popular artists are trying to do
I would think (and personally hope) its a one and done for Ye
