His mental illness does have something to do with it. But that simply doesn’t change much. It’s his responsibility as an adult to manage that mental illness enough so that it doesn’t impact other people. And no matter how bad his BIPOLAR if all things is, he is not vulnerable to it destroying everyone around him and America at larger, it’s not responsible for his corrupt moral code. That’s not how mental illnesses work, he does nothing to work on it and he does nothing to be virtuous. This current episode is not just in isolation, I’m pointing out a pattern of behaviour and list of actions and people affected by a man with unchecked power who has suckers like you who don’t give him any accountability and say “but he’s sick!” Yes he’s sick the reason for harm doesn’t negate the effect. The fact you only respond to people to say “b-but he has bipolar guys!” and don’t do any part in condemning it is in effect just defending him. Kanye isn’t just mentally I’ll he’s a bad person. There are plenty good people with worse mental illnesses that are in poverty and can’t even afford the care he has. He CHOOSES to be this way. Bipolar disorder’s symptoms don’t include beating women you try to be reductionist about it and only engage in defending rhetoric to make it seem less than it is. Your original comment is “hurrr rappers talk about killing people but let him say a lil thing about the Jews while mentally I’ll and we kill him” YES because words and actions have consequences hip hop reflects the streets and due to poverty generational trauma and environment crime is very high there including glorification of murder so it’s reflected in the art because the genre documents that reality and violence is one of the most effective most often referenced things in art. That’s not the same thing. You expect him to say literally anything and do anything he wants without the people turning on him? Like what? It’s been 10 years of grace people even bumped VULTURES AND IT GOT NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY after it was laced with nazi imagery and he went on tv to say “I love Hitler” yet now we wanna act like people are being too mean to him?? No human in recent HISTORY has had this much leeway given to them dawg stop it it’s HIS fault and this is all HIS doing it’s not just mania it’s attention seeking it’s not coincidental his episodes go public every time he gotta hype an album

"Your original comment is “hurrr rappers talk about killing people but let him say a lil thing about the Jews while mentally I’ll and we kill him”

if you look back actually i never made that comment it was a completely different user so please note that down for one, your entire second half of your comment is based on something i never said myself

as i said multiple times i never said hes above accountability, if that slips through ill reiterate it again.

mania coincides with creative work often so thats why it can seem like promotion but its not just one singular thing.

i feel like you’re not understanding that im not excusing anything im explaining it, yes there are plenty of unmedicated bipolar people that do everything ye has done, they just don’t have a mega platform. i have no problem with his platform being reduced but the facts are the facts all of his behaviour comes back to that.

Ahh gotchu my fault o though u were the same guy
Well yes I’d agree with most of this comment the issue only is saying it all stems from that. Which I’d disagree with.he clearly has genuine character flaws probably unrelated to the mania that also leads to this behaviour

All this talking for exposing yourself. You don't know how mental illness is working. We're also way past the point of him just doing this for album promo lol
