Yes bad people exist in rap music as with every genre and industry. That doesn’t mean anything to my point

A lot of rappers r locked up or do crimes due to this genre coming from the STREETS it’s from people that come from horrible environments, poverty, and generational trauma the violence is just a restatement to that reality. This convo has been had a million times over since the inception of gangsta rap. It’s a common phenomena and a real effect of that environment.
Yes some people from those environments are twisted and do bad things such as being a woman beater. That’s bad too
BUT that comes with the territory of having an agents that comes from the impoverished section of the minority class in America.

It’s a whole different thing when someone has been a m/billionare for 15 years and has used their platform consistently to do the things I said, which have documentedly negatively impacted American politics, anyone around him, normalised dangerous ways of thought, and shown him to literally fund the cases of serial rapists and publicly endorse them while trying to normalize f***ing NAZISM. you can critique that s*** but it’s a natural byproduct of where this music comes from if you don’t understand that you shouldn’t be talking about hip hop. This is a whole dif level. If dr Dre was doing what Kanye was doing I’d say the same thing.

Anyone who has a deeper understanding of this culture and where this s*** comes from knows addiction, violence, etc are things that are a byproduct of the environment where yall favourite rappers are born. Nazism is NOT. Just because he has a mental illness doesn’t mean he cannot be held accountable and your whataboutism is running cover for his s*** whether u say “it’s still bad” or not.

Here you go justifying s*** instead of saying people should hold their selves accountable. No one is bumping Kanye rap about Nazi s***, they are listening to bully which contains none of that. I use to listen to gangster rap and all that s*** and I realized how f***ing terrible that s*** is. I don’t justify the music being pushed nor am I saying Kanye saying his stupid s*** is okay.
