What throwbacks you referring to?
Some of the snippets don't really strike me as rehashes or anything.
Like that drum and bass snippet that leaked a while ago.
I meant his throwbacks to past works and moments that he is now using in present music and its promotion. Revisting guess we'll never know, using cant tell me nothing chorus in a caption, incorporating good life in a song.
Im still down for the music however. But the stuff above is hackey for someone who takes pride in being future oriented

He's somewhat a legacy artist now so I don't see any issue with him referencing his past work at his current point in his career imo but each to their own

Same, "808's" is high on your list & the only reason why it's mid-tier for me is cause I don't visit it as often.
You can deem every album from "TCD" to "TLOP" as a classic (imo)
Everything past that's mid to ass. (aside from KSG)
Hold up.
You ranking V2 and JIK over Ye?
Ain't a song on those on the level of Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, and No Mistakes.
I despise Ye man. That was the fall off album. The first disappointment in a perfect discography. Will never forget watching that livestream listening to that album and being like "is that it? no f***ing way"
thankfully he dropped KSG the next week and made me forget it lol
Violent Crimes is great, No Mistakes is cool--GT incredibly overrated imo but agree to disagree. It's 7 meh songs, Ye is an album every other rapper of that era could've made imo and thats not what I loved Kanye for. I've already said I enjoy V2 a lot and JIK has the best production and hooks of any solo Ye album post TLOP imo
Ye playing the long con to go on a crazy rant and get Kai banned
Goat tings
I found the lack of Donda 2s in top 3 incredibly disturbing
The lack of it at all. Donda 2 is canon. This must be accepted.
That’s my billionaire

Even though I disagree, I respect the explanation.
Helps me understand your POV more.
