It's just early AI and Kanye is going to make the first blueprint to how AI can be used

You about to see so many artist who cant sing or completely tone deaf make the greatest music ever made in the next 10 years

The way AI can be used in music has infinite possibilities and it's going to change music industry forever

I don't hate that future

I'm not a proven musician but I know my way around the piano roll and I of course love music

But I fear the idea of using my voice, only because I like the anonymity. If AI could be good enough to give me an option to have believable vocals where I can stay behind the keys only, well it'd make me more comfortable

Most of the ai hate talk is stupid because generally they don't get how it functions. Ai can very much be a liberating piece of technology in day to day life for many people. There are obviously things our governments need to do for safe nets but there's is plenty of positive outcomes of Ai. If anyone is interested in Ai at all in capacity, one of my favorite historians Benjimin Kline Hunnicut (a Jeffersonian Democrat) talks about it a lot and how it can be a wonderful tool for humans. And I mostly agree with a lot of what he says.

Overall. People should stop being such whiny babies. Ai in music has been used since the 70’s so idk what the f*** some people are on.

Im not inherently against AI. I think it can and will be used for a lot of parts in music in the future. Even as vocal samples and active parts on a song.
But when its so jarring that it takes you out of the song like in Sky City, then it kills the whole enjoyment of the track.

My opinion generally is to dead all the AI talk until the album is out. And if the album is AI, then we can and should have a conversation about it. But to a***yze every 5 second snippet that is coming out atm to see if its AI is not really productive
