i think the new label and deadline had a lot to do with the album not being quite as focused or well put together as some would hope.

i do hope he does updates for it, it seems like it was probably in the same stage that donda was in during the second LP where it was almost there but just not quite. i can live with it in its current state, but i wouldn't mind hearing these ideas refined just a little more.

Why I say that is because having heard the songs already for like 2 years now in various states, just takes away some of my personal enjoyment of this

Is that supposed to have an impact on my listening, even if I do like the songs? Maybe? Maybe not? Idk. But it hurts them for me

On top of that, the vocal performances are hit or miss, there’s still AI, many of the songs are too short, and he does the “repeat line 10x” gimmick and I think that’s my most hated trend of his in the last like 6 years.

I mention the rollout process: I am done with LPs and done with hearing like the entire album prior to it being on streaming. Ik that is a me decision to simply not listen to LPs, but I rather he ditch the live streamed LP trend all together. It’s just gotten tired a bit idk.
