Apr 5wish the ai was a little cleaner because theres still some weird artefact-ing and digital bad soundingess but something about how the preacher man samples with just the vocals and bass playing is so good. using ai to isolate specific elements (vocals and just bass in this case) is an ai use in music that could have super fresh outcomes. makes preacher man my fav musical stuff on the album tbh. dont really like any of the verses but the way the 'i walked up to the preacher man' part sounds with the bass runs and just the vocals is so nice

But you know, I don’t get the conflation of black people in art in America having skepticism towards that community and that being synonymous with conventional WASP and European anti semitism. They are very much rooted in very different histories and lived experiences. I see people going after other black people who are in proximity of Kanye and can’t help but think oh I know this playbook. It doesn’t work as well in 2026.
It’s like as a Palestinian call me a racist but I do have my guard up around Jewish people and rightfully so. This is exactly what I’m getting at . It’s also an issue of class . When people see the media and see the owners don’t look like them but demonize them . There is a massive issue of deed theft in New York at time done by Jewish people . Bad record deals which Lupe called out . The lack of trust in the Jewish community isn’t coming from nowhere or from people reading mein kampf. There are loving Jewish people but there are those that view non Jewish people as lessers
