Billboard counts streams tied to specific ISRC recordings (unique recording IDs). If a song is re-recorded or materially changed, it can receive a new ISRC. That effectively makes it a different track in the system and resets streams.
Damn, so the real reason he didnât go #1 (if we go by Gammaâs numbers) is because he didnât keep Last Breath, B&B, and Preacher Man AI.
is there a way to check if this is the case?
Who cares how much it sells. this thread is about to hit 250k. That means more to me đĽđĽ
they're saying its the biggest and most popping thread in kanyeâtothe2 history đ
Why couldnât they make the non ai parts on preacher man sound good. The rest of the album vocals arenât the best recorded or mixed but theyâre good. Preacher man vocals are so dull. Sounds like they didnât do anything to it. Performance isnât good either but it being mixed better wouldâve helped
Sales = quality. I donât even listen to music.
When Fantano finally reviews an album so you know how to feel about it
is there a way to check if this is the case?
Without access to billboardâs internal system, probably not. But if you look at the numbers Gamma submitted, under streams they wrote âincluding singles/EPsâ which for this album were totally different AI versions. So it would make sense why they werenât counted.

would imagine fixes pushed with the âdeluxeâ

cost of operating outside control of the majors. What I said before will continue to track until he breaks down or Somehow beats all of this with continuous good music, good will, and some ongoing proof of apology
So is Bully doing significantly worse streaming sales than Vultures 1 indicative of waning Kanye popularity or Gamma incompetence
it's been a pretty consistent trend for rap albums since mid-2025, although the extent of the losses seems to vary a bit. only don toliver has had positive growth in the past year.

if weâre being real.. this mostly tracks with the quality of the albums too the better albums got more streams for the most part

This is different from the not counting pure sales narrative. The pure sales billboard numbers match the numbers Gamma just posted.
I donât think itâs necessarily selectively against Ye to not count streams towards a completely different version of a song. I donât think other artists generally change an entire single completely on the album, at least that I can ever remember.

J Cole.

Vultures 2 only did 50 m streams so this is actually a 100% increase
fall off, billy and dbd deserved more streams than the last albums
J Cole deserves to s*** the helle up
Billy deluxe will have Pissy back on Milrose

Damn nobody cracking 300k these days
Look at my boy Cole World though
I still think the whole album equivalent steaming conversion is bs though
Before streaming if 150 million mfs was listening to your s*** you was comfortably multi-platinum. The streaming to equivalent sales conversion really undermines just how popular modern artists are imo and it skews how much impact they are really having on the culture
