Controversy itself is some bs, but his explanation is dumb as f*** as well. Put some plain s*** on a basic shirt, overprice it, and do some stupid publicity stunt is really INNOVATIVE. What a genius.
do you have any of the Yeezy gap line engineered by Balenciaga?
He made a good point about ppl s***ting on creatives, limits others willingness to step out creatively
He did it for the aesthetic. All that innovator, outside the box s*** is just fluff. How does this make easier for people to pick out what they wanna buy?
Looks like it makes it unnecessarily hard tbh. Ye’s hat and beard look fire in the interview though on another note

makes it easier for the workers if anything lol
I think he did it this way bc all the yeezy season 1 stuff sat. It dilutes the mystique of the clothes to only have them on hangers when they’re essentially basics but still require you to build your wardrobe around them.
Its not like he’s selling a line of hoodies or t shirts he’s selling a look so while I can’t defend ye from the “mocking homeless” allegations (and can’t support the idea of creating an unnecessary mess for retail workers) I do think its an interesting reaction to a problem he may be learning from
Doesn't it make it easier for workers tho
They just put the clothes in bags and customers do the rest
They don't even help u find ur size
Why is this so funny that this the one controversy (that's barely even a controversy) he giving an interview for
cryingggg

A. they have to manage the mess of dozens of people rummaging through clothes on drop days, and workers can't just check inventory to find your size, and B. a ton of people on drop day called out the gap workers for not knowing enough about sizing and shoppers weren't allowed to use fitting rooms
its organized chaos on ye's end
Honestly when clothing like in a neat display it lowkey stress me out if I pick it up then I put it back and I've messed the whole damn pile up I know it's workers job and they prob used to it but always feel bad and I'm tryna fix it n s***
When it's hanging up then it's easier but even then u lucky if it's actually in size order and have to search through em anyway
Normies angry as s***
(See replies)
cool so you can just leave them all on the ground after youve found your size?
ye and his goal of getting his product to the most people possible will always be funny to me when he/his collaborators price the items as they do lol. don't get me wrong the hoodie is burly asf and worth the money for sure, but most certainly not for "everyone"
This interview feels like they want to use ye to get the views but at the same time mock him
this should be posted on the donda 2 thread op
i honestly dont understand why ppl care if its in a bag, like what difference does it make?
