Thats not the weird part. Its how artist are treated around here in general. Artist here might as well be politicians. Every one of them needs to be perfect/think the same or else it's over. I guess it's an age/generation thing and the younger it gets the more extreme it is. Cause I know older gens don't gaf like that lol Yves Tumor thread rn a pretty good example. "Oh man never listening again!" "sad, I liked his music" posts like cmon man you really thought ANY rock star--let alone that guy, was a good guy and now you can't listen to him anymore? lmaoooo
Just say "hes a piece of s*** but I like his/he makes some good music" and move on ffs. But on KTT nobody moves on. Here we performatively focus on how much s***ty the person behind the artist is, knowing damn well no one on here really cares lol whether its Ye, MJ, Drake, R.Kelly, Diddy, old rock stars etc... would be impossible to listen to music through this lens through any other era in music history lol 90s rap would've ended immediately, 70s rock stars would've been crucified for the s*** they were doing
On twitter they get outraged for one day then back to loving the music the next. Look at the quotes for that very tweet in OP, for example. KTTers be listening to rappers rap about murder and d**** etc... but shocked whenever they actually aren't all mentally there/turn out to be shady irl
TLDR: Musicians are not good people, but this place is full of some really sweet creatures man
