Seeing this tomorrow afternoon
The scene where carti was like why don’t you like pusha t verse ? And Kanye started going off about pusha talking about BLM on off the grid
when he’d rather it be about f***ing b****es and d****

That scene had me dead
and I had always wondered why Push wasn’t on Donda
hope this is on streaming or something at some point got covid so can’t see it anytime soon
those scenes of him screaming at Kim, screaming at Kris, screaming at his cousin
Imagine how bad it was behind the scenes. And Kim NEVER aired him out on his bs publicly. Damn, I never knew it was this bad. What a loser

He never realized that they all just cared about him deeply since he was paranoid and felt betrayed by everyone
Meanwhile the wrong people got access to him
This documentary is just sad. The part with the medication and that he would rather die is pretty normal when you‘re mentally ill and bipolar unfortunately

I’m not saying it’s right to scream but you’re not applying context to those scenes, those were about triggering topics such as medication and mental health while in the midst of a clear episode, also whatever happened at Uganda clearly had him extra paranoid. It’s not the same context as with Michael Che where there is nothing to trigger him. But obviously it had to be tough for Kim seeing all that.
Full thing was online
Idk if its still online
Cam as f*** but I cropped it and its watchable enough because there aren't any dark scenes
Kind of insane this got theatre distribution. This is the most “go to my website to watch” documentary I’ve ever seen.
Big waste of time too, if you were even slightly in the Kanye bubble from 2017-2022 you’ve already seen/heard about all this, and it doesn’t go in depth about anything actually interesting (Uganda, music, presidential campaign). Very surface level following around a mentally ill rich guy with a phone vibes.
somewhere between Jean-yuhs and in whose name, is a very worthy doc. this was good in the sense of seeing the manic episodes completely. very heartbreaking at the same time. legit teared up when he talked bout his mom, cause I just lost my pops.
on the real though, not tryna objectify but Kim k’s ass is magnificent
the original docu that leaked was much better than this !
how do u not include the s*** with North that whole scene in the car was funny and poignant as f*** and they just chose the metaphor about sleeping
Ye and North didn't even have a throughline in this doc

Always was going to be tbh, that’s the best Ye doc we’ve got
