TrussMeI'm totally lost on Ye. I legit have no opinion on him anymore. Is it partly performance art? Mental illness? Decades of extreme fame? Trauma induced behavior? Extreme satire? Free speech badly disguised as antisemitism? Is it AI? Or does he still rap? Can't make an album, but still chop a beat? S***addiction and nitrous gas? An ego existing mostly out of scar tissue?
I'm starting to treat him like the crackhead on the street. His output has become muffled grunts and noises, not much worth reacting to. At one time he was one of the most prolific ARTISTS of my generation. We don't really know what happened and I wonder if he does too. His legacy is taking a darker turn every year, but I guess I'll listen to Bully when it drops. For I hope to hear some Kanye West in between the murmurs of Ye.
