Choosing peace over fame is the coolest thing anyone can do i aint need a ye breakdown to realize that.
wisdom come with age and i’m just gettin started
Pablo is not better than 4:44 I'm sorry and I was 14 when Pablo came out I was in the perfect demographic for it
TLOP way better than 444 though
a lot of TLOP feels dated 9 years later
a lot of TLOP feels dated 9 years later
444 got like 3 or 4 songs that hold up in 2025
i think (and call me wrong for this) but mental health for black men of ye’s generation is so cooked
them niggas have been ignored for so long and i see how that generation is bleedin thru my dads own mental health journey
i’m over it bc he’s rich but at the same time i’ll always have a soft spot (pause) bc niggas is really broken out here…. and i think no matter what has shifted culturally it’s still hard for black men to be vulnerable with each other, with the world, and with ourselves…
I hear you, at high volume with extreme clarity
I just hope that folks in here do not let how important Kanye was to them cloud their judgement or let him slide after a whole bible sized book of terrible things
Good looks fam, stay up
a lot of TLOP feels dated 9 years later
I don't think this is a fall of the album itself perse but it does strike me as an audible version of a dad hat from 2016
Pablo is not better than 4:44 I'm sorry and I was 14 when Pablo came out I was in the perfect demographic for it
Pablo is half baked mid with some cool ideas here and there. Niggas just couldn't be honest about it at the time
Man now that I look at it Cole was raging at this, and raging at KEndrick getting #1 on the hottest MC list and then venting on jodeci freestyle, ending up not doing s*** in responses to all that.
Just wanted to add he did all this coming from the background of a "Humble King" I think I remember why i never liked him lol
i think there’s a version of TLOP that sounds like a futuristic club album more akin to what we hear today from arca rosalia and such
but he was so keen on being liked by the masses, he got metro boomin and other young modern rap producers to bring the sound closer to something palatable for that time
it def hindered a lot of that album. for me, it shows
One day we gonna have a talk about 4:44
Its a great late career album, what about it
We are NOT gonna hate on 4:44 in a thread of a nigga who dropped Vultures 2
Anybody want me??
444 got like 3 or 4 songs that hold up in 2025
