Is there going to be more or is that it?

With the way the podcast ended, it seemed like they were gonna talk some more. There wasn’t a proper close.

Part 2 coming next week I bet.

Feel like they would've mentioned that. That's the only way people would subscribe/follow them so they could keep track of the next Ye episode.

I had no incentive to subscribe, so I just watched it and bounced off their channel with haste

I mean it’s a pretty popular on it’s own there just aren’t going to many guests as big as him in this space

  • Nov 6, 2021

Just now watching this, only about 45 mins in so far. NORE hasn’t been talking over ye a ton which is surprising bc he always does lol. But I’m enjoying how candid Ye has been throughout, the idea of being so big you have a place to stay or anything you need given to you is hilarious, man is real life Kramer.

    my point exactly.

i've heard of drink champs for years and haven't cared enough to subscribe. the only thing that could've gotten me to subscribe tho, is if they said that a pt. 2 was dropping for the ye interview sometime in the future.

that fact that they didn't do that makes me feel like this is all we're gonna get.

Gotcha gotcha. I also wonder if ppl care about subs like that since once an episode goes up it usually gets circulated wether it’s this or breakfast club, etc

should've done it at the end of the video itself when everyone's watching, cause if i didn't give a f*** about his twitter before the show and i sure as hell won't give a f*** after as well

  • "Oh you thought I wasnt gonna get killed this interview "

    nervous laughter in room

this could be a thread in of itself...but I think there is an importance of the "name drop counter" during this interview, Ye has been talking like this for a while in a way to gain creditability on the topics and ideas he elaborates on (specifically the Zane Lowe interview from the Yeezus days, he name drops so many people) It originally came off to my as a fake way to sound like you know what you are talking about, but I do think its networking at its finest. Ye really does network well, surrounds himself with people with ideas and resources that he then utilizes. The importance of networking in this interview is a huge takeaway that drink champs pointed out. I'm assuming it was to troll Ye in a way, but I think there is an incredible lesson here.

Anyone not that excited about PT 2??

We got a lot of great insight and intellectual s*** from Ye, but it seems like more he got drunk the more he started getting off track to be petty to his old friends like Sean, John Legend and that’s what stole the headlines out of ALL the dope things he’s said.

I don’t really care to hear Drunk Kanye diss niggas (that he would never say that to his face) for another hour.

Especially after he looked like a punk once J Prince set him straight in that Drake apology video lmao

Ye talking Big S*** to his peers don’t hit the same anymore.

Honestly I'm still pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the first one. I went in expecting a trainwreck and left feeling like I actually got some solid insight amongst the random petty jabs. I'm tuning in for that at least

need just a little sprinkle of new music talk in part 2

it is kinda sad how these fools ( not a insult they willfully don’t care about the history ) don’t even research before interviewing him

    ask about

    charlie wilson
    tony williams
    cyhi
    jeff bhasker

but of course we know why they don’t , this is a battle of viewing supremacy

but you have so many places to go with a great person like this who clearly is the musical leader of hip hop culture. there is only one person who has a choir and does weekly live streams and it ain’t the one from nyc the few from atlanta the one from toronto or the one fron detroit

there’s only one and that’s why we are all here waiting to see what he wants to do next. 😎
