Keep in mind this is Kanye’s first self release ever. So there’s no def jam. I know he was shopping for distribution but I imagine clearing samples, etc. is on him and whoever he’s hired.

Basically I can see it both ways. Maybe the album when it does drop is really polished and ready since it’s 100% up to him. But also it can drag on a while too.
