Itās properly rated as a masterpiece because Kanye is one of the greatest producers of all time and delivered.
What Woukd Meek Do is objectively a horrible beat. So one out of the 7 tracks is a colossal failure. Infrared is the kind of beat that if alchemist produced, Ye fans would use it to discredit him, but itās actually even more simple of a loop than most ādust producersā. Thatās two out of 7 that really arenāt valid productions in any way
Bugging. Don't see why you don't like the daytona beats, they're executed pretty great for what push was looking for
See above post
if you really believe this you have horrible taste
If you think what would meek do or infrared are better than literally any madlib or alchemist beat, you know nothing about production and are more focused on the producerās personality
you can go to ktt1 and find plenty of posts about daytona having the best beats
piƱata is derivative and repetitive
love freddie but come on lol
I think maybe youāre confused with bandana, which is a little repetitive. PiƱata though, is miles ahead of Daytona. If madlib made Daytona people would call it basic and dusty. Iāve never heard a major album with more basic production than Daytona. It sounds like someoneās first beats
See above post
Idk I like both of these beats
wwmd probably the worst beat/song on daytona. You're absolutely wyling about infrared. Like I said earlier all the beats on daytona were like that because it fir what push was going for.
Ye can produced in different styles

Compare infrared to a similar beat by alchemist or madlib though, who ye stans hate on and claim is boring. When they make a loop beat like that, it actually has details and evolution, even if itās subtle. Like when they say about an alc or madlib beat āitās just a loopā, thereās usually still some other subtle stuff happening. For infraredā¦. Uhhhhhh no itās actually just the loop lmao

Al and madlib don't always make loop beat that have progression or slight changes like that tho.
My brother, my wind is an even simpler beat than infrared since there's not even drum programming on that one . Nothing wrong with a simple loop.
I feel like if the crux of your argument for why daytona beats aren't good is that a small minority s*** on other producers who use loops but not daytona, its pretty weak.

There isnāt drum programming in infrared either
My real argument is that Daytona beats sound amateur. I honestly believe that they were the first 7 beats that a 14 year old made on FL Studio, and ye paid the kid to put his name on them
But also to be clear Iām not saying the beats arenāt good. Just saying theyāre overrated. I think any alchemist and madlib album is better produced
if its raining
its raining

Just saw the album is gone from apple music ffs. What's the point of making these projects if he scrapping them before release? He is basically wasting everyone's time including the features for nothing

He has slight autism from his car accident.

Where the drums and 808s coming from ?
But like I said those beats were intentionally minimal to fit the vibe push was going for, the teyanna beats don't aren't in the same vein as the daytona or Nasir ones or even this one

I guess Travis didnāt send his verse in yet
the fact that āverses have to be sent inā just shows the sad state of things. a verse canāt just be sent in! if youāre making a great album everything has to be carefully considered and contribute to the narrative somehow. like the album should be sat on and completed for months before we even hear about it

!https://youtu.be/Q3HtGum-Jsg?feature=sharedI get it but I donāt think that means theyāre great, for me, games we play is one of my least favorite rap beats ever, I just canāt stand dry colorless beats with no bass or sonic color to them like that. I donāt care if thatās what he was going for, and I donāt like when people use āitās supposed to be like thatā as a defense
its still dropping on the day of the week that it s the day where ty and ye have the day going on an fthey can adrop that album wigh abcak to me back rto me sorry jus ttook an ambien
@Oblivion99 you canāt argue with someone who says a song is āobjectively horribleā
Thatās a mental illness.

But now ur confusing me because
"dry colorless beats with no bass or sonic color to them"
A lot of al beats are like this. I seen you praised the Earl collab and a lot of the beats on there are litteraly like that lol

this is such a bad take. Comeback Baby and Games We Play are both perfect beats
