I’m educated enough where I can draw these conclusions based on what we see. We have access to enough of his process to get an idea of what’s going on.
does ye start with the sample everytime? the chords? the drums? whats the process ?? Why does he track in protools with most of the beats being made in fl or live? What does he look for in the treatments of his samples? which warping mode does he prefer when he imports a sample into ableton? Does he make sure the sample rate is correct? does he f*** it up sometimes and the makes cool textures that he adds? What kind of synths does he use for his pads? why is he so obsessed with omnisphere choir presets??? DOES HE STILL USE A CL1B FOR HIS VOCAL COMPRESSOR? HAVE THE SETTINGS HAD TO CHANGE AS HIS VOICE AGES???
like come on bro if you know anything about anything you know every artist has a very different creative process and to try to track it by the 4 or 5 videos of him in the studio a year is ridiculous.
and before you even claim it i don't care that you were in a session with someone and they did it someway its not the same lol

Live instrumentation was a huge part of what made Ye’s prime stuff great
It doesn’t take a genius or seeing every take to know that there’s much less of it on his later stuff.
