This is what I don’t get

Why would he preview the songs, and just not release them?

I agree that leaks hurt him releasing music, but if he would just release the songs, he wouldn’t have this problem.

He previews songs to keep the buzz going, and then he can turn them into anything like how he gave some of the Love Everyone beats to Nas and made new songs for Ye on the whim.

Kanye previews songs = Kanye still got it/Still works on music

It doesn't mean that those exact songs will be dropped. If he had to drop everything that he previewed or that his friends post on IG, then it will limit his creativitity. He wouldn't have these assets anymore.
