I still don't understand why he announces a new album with a release date and then keeps pushing it back. At this point, he should just make the album without announcing anything and drop it when it's really done.
The album does not exist without the rollout

In the digital age he can tweak an album for eternity so he sets a release date, hoping that before it the product would satisfy him, when it doesn't happen he moves the date.

he does this for attention tbh maybe it’s for selling clothes or to get people to pay attention to another thought he wants to share with everyone. Something must have happened after the LPs though cause all signs seemed to point to this being released but that rant made me feel like he was buying time and hoped that people would be outraged at him and nobody cared
at least we have a date now

until Ye or Ty actually acknowledge it, this s*** isn’t coming out in my opinion

Until I have bootlegged it and heard it all the way through, then I’ll believe it’s out
Despite all the positive gifs that I sent, I can't ignore that Kanye posted an apology (he since deleted it) and after it chance of him releasing an album where not only lyrics but also cover actively reject this apology seems pretty low without him changing the cover art, making edits to the songs.

But the rollout is so long and messy that a lot of people will lose any hype for this.
I mean, at this point, if he would drop a suprise (complete) album, I'm pretty sure everyone would be crazy

lots of other artists already do that

You know that ain't that, that ain't the fact he wasn't satisfied. He starts the rollout with an album that is way too far to be finished.
Yandhi, Donda, Donda 2, at the exact date of their original release date, a lot of songs were still mumble songs. Some dudes were still recording their verse, and Mike Dean was mastering songs after songs the day after the release date lol
How you can have any perspective on the album you about to drop lol
I understand when you test your songs/albums to the public, and not being satistifed, so you refine your music, but he refines nothing because the songs just got finished when the album is out.
It's like he's looking to his computer, see 15-20 demos in his folder, and say "oh we got an album, let's announce it"

ty is in the same boat as us
the album is being held hostage by ye

I've heard that Kanye was tweaking his albums till the very end even with early works, also you are forgetting that Rick Rubin said that Yeezus required months to finish when they had two weeks, TLOP wasn't finished as well.
So I think that my initial words are true, and also just to throw another thesis. 808 was autotune, MBDTF was perfect, Yeezus was anti-MBDTF (as Kanye saw it), and I think that everything post-Yeezus is kinda unfinished. Maybe Kanye likes that aesthetic of song being medium rare. So this process is a part of that gimmick which he is running since TLOP.

I agree, 10 years that we didn't get a finished album.
Also he had to respect the due date with record labels, now he's totally free, he's his own boss, that's the main reason
