Perception is such a big part of music, especially for more modern and casual fans who listen on a more surface level I swear

I even said during the whole CLB Donda polarization when Ye stans were s***ting on drake, that if Ye made Race My Mind or even N 2 Deep it would be praised to hell and back.

They have a lot in common as artists and being a fan of one and not the other lowkey don’t make sense, but I think the public perception and image of drake being pop and Ye being a “serious respectable artist” makes it seem like night and day for some people
