SCOUSERNever said they wasn't. I'm saying critics on the whole didn't care. the album got v good reviews without those edgy lyrics being a focus or really a minus what I'm saying.
And like I say I'm talking more critics... It was acclaimed critically. it's true it had v mixed reception among public in part due to the raps, but not what I'm talking bout
(I realise critic can be used to talk bout everyone in general but writers is what I'm talking bout - and like I say idc and I understand it, just an observation)
True plus 2013 Kanye perception vs 2024 Kanye perception, not even close. So Ofcourse the media is looking for any reason to critique Ye.

It's actually a pretty good verse until the Ye Kelly/Bill Cosby/Puff Daddy/MeToo quadfecta and the energy and vocal strength is there. I'm Surprised you'd put it below the Ye vs the people or Violent Crimes verse
The “she say suck my d***” lines are hella cringe but it’s forced and he acting like he can’t rap on the beat.
Like nigga, record the verse over and get it right. I hate when I can tell Ye is being lazy versus when he actually put in effort.

Yup it loses focus. Still think the first 7 bars are a good setup for a great verse but he def ruins it
