uzi doesnt really have influence. any examples u could make just tie back to thug and future
can make this same argument with wayne and kanye and biggie and tupac then

idk bro all these artists u named have a distinct influence of their own especially with their sound. i see what u mean though but i feel like theres nothing you can state back directly to uzi. dyed hair? the adlibs? the type beats? its all thug and future inspired
with that being said ,uzi is 1 of the best to do it in that vein with ease
This is probably true in terms of the type of rap music that the mainstream will gravitate towards. Maybe a more accurate take would be that the highly melodic Atlanta styles are the future, and it’s maybe a bit difficult to guess which ones.
You think anyone that’s more stylistically comparable to (rapping) Drake or J. Cole than Uzi and Carti will hit it big in the mainstream? If that were the case I think we’d see a lot more hype around JID, Cordae as the next successors than the Atlanta guys.
Even look at who all the legacy artists are choosing as their successors. Kanye obsessed with Carti and Lil Baby, Kendrick is molding his protege Keem into more melodic trap sounds, Drake favors Lil Baby and co signs these sorts of artists all the time, etc.

Id say destroy lonely is Uzi, Thug is gunna, future is lil baby
uzi goated though, he might be out of his creative peak after that EP however
EP was mostly older s***, only 1-2 songs were recent
Nazi proclaims two artists years past their primes are the future
Carti in his prime, agree uzi past it
Maybe in 2016 lol
Kanye showing his age
He's right. They both have a long way to go
