as for mase while i agree w what OP is saying i dont think the mase albums are really gonna give u a kanye feeling cause its more in rap style while the sonics of the beats features etc are very different

Like lil flip wasn’t one of the biggest rappers in Houston. I don’t get why we’re assuming rocky was the inspiration for all of this

Yea I think it’s just because they’re similar in body frame and hairstyle. Sometimes there’s a similarity in fashion and aesthetic choices but I don’t think Travis ever bit Asap blatantly.

There may be SOME truth to it because Trav was affiliated with some of the Mob members in like 2012 and I think he took some of the early ASAP aesthetics but that’s about it. He never sounded like Rocky sonically at all.

It just comes down to perspective but rodeo is so messy. Really most of the songs on that are generic to be honest. I like 3500 but other than that I think it is mostly generic
