- Shinya Tsukamoto (Tokyo Fist/Bullet Ballet)
- Andrzej Zulawski (On The Silver Globe/Possession)
- Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas/Casino)
- Philippe Grandrieux (La Vie Nouvelle/Despite The Night)
- Terrence Malick (Tree Of Life/Knight Of Cups)
- Panos Cosmatos (Mandy/Beyond The Black Rainbow)

I don’t think QT is overrated, people tends to think that because when you ask teenage/ young adults what is their favorite director, 9 times out of 10, they will answer QT. But if you look closely to his movies, the guy has the same kind of genius as Ye. I always put ye/QT at the same level, because they both use a lot of elements from existing movies/music to build their work, and their evolution until 2016 was kind of the same
But good list BTW, I love Gaspard Noé. I will add Park Chan Wook too, and also Romain Gavras with Le monde est a toi and Athena. I also love Adam Mckay, this guy is great everywhere.
About Julia Ducourneau, Grave was great, but Titane was overrated AF, I don’t think it was that good
