NoirThey're both kind of sad albums from a lyrical perspective, pretty much exactly what I don't want from rappers their age. Kanye in particular has done so much better
FATD and Vultures both have some cool production moments. Vultures is shorter and paced/sequenced a little more thoughtfully
I'm more likely to listen to Vultures than FATD all the way through, but they're both punching below their weight
Agreed. All that said, I find the idea of someone adoring one and hating the other quite silly, and suggestive of bias. I think people get too “black and white” with these things and lose nuance

Disagree. The production weird as hell. The structure of the 21 Savage song is f***ing ridiculous lol and the variety and sample choices is pretty eclectic. The first half is a real trip before it sets into the r&b vibe. My first listen was an experience, didn’t know when songs were beginning and ending
Idk man. That 21 song is essentially a cash cobain ripoff, a skit of an escort gossiping about Dillon brooks and then a generic 21 verse.
That’s some s*** people would meme about Ye doing in a pre album release thread.
FATD has some great songs on there though. If it was like 15 songs it’d be great

If ye made FATD ye stans would love it, it’s a pretty adventurous and dark album aesthetically. For me personally the albums are both in the 8 range and the only clear advantage is Vultures being shorter, with vultures having slightly better production and FATD having slightly better performances and lyrics
I think FATD is better than CLB and Honestly Nevermind but its way too f***in bloated. If FATD was its 15 best tracks, I think an argument could be made for it and Vultures being pretty even but as it is, Vultures is better for being more cohesive.
I think also if we look at the highs, theres more replayable tracks on Vultures than FATD where the only songs I go back to are Tried our Best, FPS, Rich Baby Daddy, IDGAF, and 8 AM
