Literally no point existing after 30 lmao. I am 29 and staring into the abyss. You get older, you have a family and then your life becomes them. Then they go off and have their own family. Then you are waiting to die.

    lowkey

Get fit, read a lot, go outside, dress up, and make money. Then you can have some fun and realize what life is about. It’s about living.

You have no personal goals? No places you want to see? Nothing new you want to learn? A job your interested in? There’s. A LOT to live for after 30. If anything, you can do so much more by then and you’ll know who you are better by that time. Also, enjoy little pleasures throughout the day.

Keeping my family safe and provided for is my only ambition.

Stop living under the illusion that you've learned all there is to (your) life already. Seriously, realise that you do not know s*** lmfao

Realise that the ideas you have about your life and especially your future, are just ideas. You can get up at any moment and let that idea go, and just do something totally different than what you've conditioned yourself to think that you should be doing.

You might not be at that point yet, but hopefully one day you will.

lets be honest being in college, young and hot and expanding your social circle and meeting people of the opposite gender at their most eager is something you dont get often

meanwhile im sitting in zoom classes for the second semester now

I didn’t even party in high school so college was me finally getting into the “party stage” and yeah it was fun but basing a whole weekend around it seems lame now, would of rather just hung with the homies instead of being pressed to go to a party that would of more than likely mid

Nah, that partying s*** is overrated.

Stick to focusing on yourself instead of trying to please a bunch of people who forget you in a few weeks after meeting them.

Then when you are comfortable with money/career you go and have fun.

I disagree because if I would have waited I never would have been able to do it. Now I’m going on 30 with a heart condition caused by bad genes and I can’t drink or smoke again.

Sometimes i yearn to go back to being a kid. Think that’s why i like slice of life anime; it reminds me of what coulda been if i had been more popular/outgoing, etc. it’s not often tho, and if i was truly given the choice, i wouldn’t go back

you can decide today to be more outgoing and change your life. every day is an opportunity to grow if you take it seriously

This thread feels like a strawman. Yeah college can be fun. It can also be trash. Yeah having a job you hate sucks. Scrimp and save doing what you love to do instead of selling out. I stayed in school for an extra 3 years so I could work a job I cared about instead of sitting behind a desk working for someone else.

And lol at your life being over after your twenties. My life at 30 is objectively better than it was at 28. I'm going to make more money this year, I have more experience and better prospects, my creative work is starting to get some momentum and I have a better connection with my daughter now that she's starting to talk.

Some really bad attitudes in here b

    These are priorities not ambitions

seems like you don't have any life goals if you can't see having a family meaning that you can still have a life. no wonder you think this way

you have no hobbies or anything? places you wanna go? career desires? like ???????????? you can level up in life while still taking care of the family

Should be enough of an argument to not be an atheist tbh

I understand how a happy idiot wouldn't mind, but how a 130+ IQ atheist would choose to live 80 pathetic years knowing complete nothingness awaits is beyond me
