Finally got around to listening to him and the album is a fun listen. Poppin & Taliban are so hard. I just can’t stop laughing at how a lot of these guys are just Carti’s kids though, his influence is very impressive and commendable.

You usually got really good takes but this a miss, Carti a lazy comparison

If you're talking influence with Yeat it starts with Future and Thug, dude even talks about it himself

Carti slowed down literally sounds like future too. King pluto

Interesting, I definitely hear the influence of Thug & Future now that you mention it, however on a production standpoint, that muddy and compressed mixing reminds me of Red. Sonically, tracks like Still Countin & Kant Relax sound like leftovers from Carti.

This one is better IMO. Better beats for sure, better melodies. Features were much appreciated. Just overall think it’s a lot better. Deluxe just cemented it for me

I think Yeat is way more thugs kid than anyone , he has carti-esque production, but his style is clearly drawn from thug and future
