The highs are really high but idc to listen to the songs that arent my favs lol
I’m really not understanding what some of y’all are seeing in this album. And this isn’t some oldhead take, I really like Yeat and enjoy all of his previous projects.
But this album just feels so… hollow & amateurish. It sounds like a lesser artist’s attempt at making a “serious, artistic, experimental” album. The production tries to be ambitious and inventive, but ends up sounding cheap and messy more than anything else.
I love when artists experiment, but I think experimentation should come with a purpose, and the experimenting on this album just feels aimless to me
It’s definitely ambitious, that’s for sure, I just think the execution was really lackluster.
This album sounds like the cheap recreation of a landmark album, rather than the actually inventive landmark album itself
Nailed it lol
christians doing corny s*** itt
I’m Christian myself and can agree they being dramatic af lol
These beats ain’t it man
I can’t even explain it. S*** sounds like generic futuristic music
It’s like what I would imagine a target commercial in a futuristic cyberpunk city would sound like
I've been listening to this nonstop for the past days and I agree with @LD mostly
Some highs are very f***ing high though (More, Breathe)
But the execution is flawed, for the level of hype we're lacking better music tbh
I skip 1/3 of the album everytime
For example. Keep Pushin could be AMAZING
That Hook gives me pure adrenaline
But with so many intro/outro shenanigans the track feels so so shirt even though it has 2:42
Don't get me started on tracks like 2093 which are like.. how the f*** does Yeat release this?
On release day y'all were hyping the second half of the album but it's mostly forgettable as well
Like for example Familia is good, but in another Yeat album it's bottom 3 tracks every time
Slime season / barter 6 caliber run if we really wanna talk abt it
Easily, let's see how revisionism plays out but legendary run, even in terms of replay value which is f***ing rare nowadays
haven't posted since the old ktt.
it was around future's hndrxx/purple reign run, maybe was the last time i was active.
i've gotten married, bought a house, had two kids back to back on some mahomes s***
i made this account and came here for one reason
to say this s*** a 9/10
❤️ congratulations, hope you're doing okay

Like 200 songs from 2021 that output is ridiculous

If this album was 40 minutes it’ll be top 2 yeat and not the 2
This is wat Travis shoulda been doing wen he made his “comeback” album lmao.
Playing this album feels like a great movie that suffers from being dragged out. Breathe and Shade my fav songs rn
