True but that says more about how much of a right wing weirdo religious nut he’s become and less about the album
Yea I really resonated with this album when I was a teen
I love seeing watching the narratives for albums like these evolve over the years
I was amazed pretty much since day one, maybe took about a week or so to fully sink in but ever since then I’ve been fully calling it a classic and people called me crazy
Slowly but surely from then until now more and more people started to come around and now it’s pretty much certified
Love to see it
Although Mbdtf is still his best to me Yeezus is still like the absolute peak for me if that makes any sense.
Not gonna get into how s*** turned out afterwards but damn seeing his run irl from College Dropout to this was insane, still get a crazy stink face from On Sight like it dropped yesterday! Everything from the music to his style to the presentation was perfect would’ve loved to see him continue from that point
*2004-2016
2004-2007 was still in that era of buying albums bc of one or two songs and the rest being meh. After that it was all about whole projects.
The hype this created for red octobers is the most organic hype created since for any pair of shoes

i love when artists are all listening and commenting on a huge new album release
feel like it doesnt happen much anymore. my fav time for that was when To Pimp A Butterfly dropped.
Kanye fans be saying anything

I'm pretty sure Canada got different coloured tapes, Walmart got more of a yellow/peach and Best Buy got the pic on the right
