I was “indoctrinated” into Christianity and I’m no longer religious. Churches indoctrinate, Muslims indoctrinate, Hindu indoctrinate.
Catholic and Christian schools have existed in every big city in America for hundreds of years but now y’all have a problem with it

Religion in general has been painted in a bad light by atheists but you have to understand if someone truly believes in Jesus for example them not teaching their child Christianity is like asking for their own child to go to hell.

If you have an issue with parents indoctrinating their children into their religion you have to have a broader issue and discussion about religion as a whole.

These buzzwords are just counterproductive in my opinion

i was raised a Catholic so i understand what religion means to others. if you watch the video i linked, you may understand my perspective more. not all religion is bad, but indoctrination is bad. shutting off free thinking is bad. telling kids that they will burn for all of eternity so that they believe in a figure is wrong
