lol White Supremacist aren't empowered by Ye saying Love Everybody or wearing white lives matter shirt at a fashion show in Paris. Like I get what you are saying the notion of "giving a platform" "enabling" "giving power to" "normalizing" while at the same time white lives "mattering" is already normalized. The text shouldn't really draw a volatile reaction out of people be them white or black.
Regardless of text on a t shirt our reality is our reality. Again I can wear a shirt that says black lives matter every day for the rest of my life. What does it mean when you are wearing one as a black person or seeing a black person in one ? That they are defiant because they purchased a shirt and want their lives to matter?
Its truly something to argue about because on the right side they associate black lives matter directly with the movement, looting, destruction of cities(in their own words) then on the left side it is " we simply want to matter"
When both sides are kind of being manipulated in the bigger picture as you know
