I believe this is the first look he’s giving us at his approach to classroom design. Kanye’s talked a lot in the past about how from the moment we’re born we are figuratively and literally put in boxes up until the day we die and get laid in a box forever. Ye’s talked about how the idea of boxes can affect people’s mental health and I believe he’s spoken on wanting to redesign classrooms for many years now so I think that’s what this is. That’s why the homeless shelters he’s building are multiple domes laid on the same level. Not the typical project buildings that I’m sure take a massive toll on the mental health of those residing there.

yep. Ye is basically designing all the buildings from scratch in a totally new way. From the shelters to the buildings here there is no straight wall. It literally takes everyone out of the box. He wants the buildings to be pure and have Turrell-like light sources. Besides, he wants every building to be totally skateable
