i dont have to finish shows. i can be perfectly fine with watching 3 great seasons and not watching the final season. i adopted this mentality with True Detective season 2

like Game of Thrones ending bad doesnt mean i didnt enjoy 7 seasons before. never understood this logic

With True Detective it's totally different though, as it's an anthology - you can take a single season as a full story.

Honestl all i remember was the scene at the border crossing ( which i actually enjoyed) but I remember not really liking the rest. Maybe I’ll watch it again

It gradually falls off as you move through it but I'd still say its worth getting into. If not for context on the spinoffs, then for the entertaining plotlines.
