i mean i understand the praise the producers went crazy w the synths and all that and the weeknd made the perfect aesthetic choices but truthfully i dont think its better than kiss land even. there are crazy risks taken but also some v questionable songs like to me In your eyes is borderline awful. that and the fact that music means nothing to me if i dont have any meaningful memories attached to it and all after hours reminds me of is quarantine and isolation and that just makes me miserable

Grammys haven’t meant anything for years. Good Kid Mad City didn’t win any Grammys either and not only was it Rap album of the year it was quite possibly album of the year. But anyway if you don’t like After Hours that’s fine lol it’s phenomenal though.
