I think he genuinely chooses these people tho. He's only really been around this gens stars since last year. You coulda made this same comment about him working with relevant rap artists in 2018-2020. Only really had Ant and Ty as his consistent features for that era

we've heard stories like him having been obsessed to work with singers like Dua Lipa for example but then he gets their vocals and won't put them on the final product. Even Justin Vernon who seemed icy with Ye in past years said prior to Donda although he wasn't on this one he's down for the next.

I have a hard time believing especially now with how major he is that he's being rejected by artists.

I can't describe it entirely, but the energy surrounding this entire DONDA 2 era so far feels so much to me like the energy around the Yeezus era before it came out. It feels so confident, and hot-blooded.
