"It’s also the vibe he’s been tapping into for the tracks he’s been writing for Donda 2 — Ye’s first sequel album, due out Feb. 22. Ye has given him two notes so far: to sound “more monk-like” and to “simplify” the tracks."

Without offering song titles, Nas says he’s particularly excited about one track Ye recorded with the album’s executive producer, Future. “That’s just phenomenal,” he says. He also says Ye has been collaborating with some of the producers who worked on his 2013 Yeezus album, a few familiar names from the original Donda, and one special guest that blew Nas away: “Travis Scott pulled up and played beats for Ye,” he says, beaming.
I pray this song is on Donda 2.
It must.

Executive producer's are kinda like an overseer right?
I'm not really sure how it will work with Ye, I don't think that there any Kanye album where someone else's decisions are put over his own.

Think this only happened wit Yeezus since Rick Rubin convinced him to lower the tracklist and save the other tracks for lost Yeezus tapes
So what can we expect from this album? Is there like a list of confirmed features already??
I feel like there’s little hype on here for an alleged new ye album in less than a week
Yes, because it's a sequel in less then 6 months after Donda.

Yooo
This record sounds classic from what nas is saying

But Rick is still not credited
I really don’t like that Ye’s doing a sequel album. Either he should change the name or just add whatever songs are on here to Donda as a deluxe pt 2 or some s***

Maybe the album will be written clean and not just censored this time 🤔
