Many people have been concerned with Ye's usage of AI in his recent music and older fans who aren't as up-to-date due to grown up issues may be out of the loop. So I'm making this thread documenting all his obvious and suspected usage of AI in his music.
First off I'll start with some songs for reference as to what Ye currently sounds like due to his age and the grills:
All songs recorded post-grills and sound what you'd expect them to sound like, the Vultures 1 voice with lisp on it.
Also when people say the verse is AI, we don't mean that some AI website totally generated it. It's just some writer who rapped it then an AI voice filter was used to make it sound like Ye.
Now coming to the AI songs.
1. Sky City
The song that was obviously AI to even the biggest of skeptics due to how robotic it sounds. I'm posting the initial released version from some other channel cause the artefacts on the first verse are super obvious but they did mixing changes on the recent version to make it sound less obvious. The second verse is real and it's just his Yandhi verse with lines about running for President deleted.
The first verse is AI'd Cyhi verse from when he was given the song in 2020/21, that's why it has the COVID reference. We have a snippet since last year with that Penthouse line rapped the same way it is on release.
2. Cash Cow
Another embarrassing usage of AI. Sounds super robotic and enunciations are absolutely wrong, typically happens when the guy whose vocals being used to run through the filter sounds completely different from Ye. The voice starts to completely break during the part he says Cash Out at 0:21 and when he says Tap Dance at 0:58. Gladly Skepta previewed a newer version with different beat and no Ye-I verse.
3. Can U Be
This was the initial version of the song given on deluxe:
pillowcase.su/f/8eeb83503d19d37b8a604530d0361ba3
Then they updated it and added AI to the last few Ty Dolla lines (the cargo line and investment scandals line) and turned them into Ye lines:
pillowcase.su/f/ffdc8b309a02f3cddbc426781f58cb1d
That's why the new vocals recorded recently sound super weird on this and unlike modern Ye vocals. But they knew it and again updated the mixing on the song to hide it.
They 'fried' the vocals on the entire song to make the AI punchins sound less odd. This version was released on SoundCloud and YT Music before being removed.
4. 530
🗑️
These are the songs I and multiple others believe to be AI but they aren't as obvious and I don't believe the skeptics will believe these anyways but here we go:
1. Field Trip
The intro line is completely real but the verse is unfortunately again AI. We don't know who did the reference vocals for the first part of the verse but the last line
'You ain't outside I wish it was different' is taken from the Ty verse on the original:
at 2:12, hence the pronounciation and the way it's sung is 1:1.
2. Forever
This was the original unfinished version of the song released:
and then it was updated to:
Apart from the voice being completely different and some pronounciation errors like 'please don't roin the scene' instead of 'please don't ruin the scene' which is typical for AI filters to do. People were able to find the AI voice model Ye uses with the help of these.
This is the intro of verse of final version:
This is the intro of verse of unfinished version with actual Ye vocals ran through a popular AI model that we now know Ye uses:
Almost 1:1 and confirms that AI was used on this song as well.
The AI model is : weights.gg/nb/models/clm72sgg50ov3cctc8kyh1epu
The believed reference writer whose vocals were AI'd is Quentin Miller who reposted the song when it got updated with caption 'another 1' confirming he worked on it.
3. Preacher Man
First Bully song to be previewed. His voice breaks at the part where he says passed and path at 0:43. Earlier people didn't catch it when the low quality livestream recordings were the only ones available but as more people uploaded their own higher quality recordings, it became obvious that song has usage of AI. The extent of which is not known, can't say for sure until it's available in higher quality. His voice is also quite different from his grills and lisp voice I posted as reference from the beginning of this post
4. Beauty and The Beast
Available at bully.yeezy.com
The main point it for it being AI for most people is him pronouncing disrespect as dish-dispect but I can chalk it upto being a creative choice. For me, the major giveaway is the voice change at 0:19 when the rapping part starts. The voice is again not his current one and sounds like the major uncanny valley AI voice. He simply does not sound like that anymore but his AI models do.
Also I believe a lot of doubt comes cause people simply don't realize that AI has gotten quite advanced.
This is a completely fan made song. Now imagine what people whose job is to make songs can do with AI. It's inspired by this old unfinished leak: youtube.com/watch?v=NTWEP0Q0DYQ
Thank you for collating it all in one thread
It’s just so obvious man, it’s sad to see people just accepting it without question, but I guess it’s the “future of music” right?
just gotta prepare for everyone to adopt it in future cause if people aren’t interested in pushing back against it now, it’ll be too late, probably even a couple months from now
Ye is washed in ways that artists literally haven't ever been washed before
You’re a f***ing loser and I genuinely hope you go therapy or try to make your own art. No one f***ing cares
It’s so annoying because you stupid Ai tuthers are impossible to talk to and every conversation is lose lose because you truly believe you’re right in every single way and everyone is wrong. The discourse is awful because if someone disagrees or poses alternative explanations you folks immediately turn it down. You are doing more damage to the art than you are adding anything meaningful to it.

False
When yall see him perform these songs live will the microphone be ai?
This is hands down the worst era of music. Everything is AI to yall
Nah it just helps us identify the idiot

the average listener does not care im afraid
Potentially misleading (I'd say it's true considering the guy's track record) but this dude the reddit mods befriended was right about Beauty and the Beast dropping as a single back in September and told other stuff about the Korea and China concerts that turned out to be true.
Guess Ye was right looking at the replies from some geniuses on this website.

"Ye did not expect people to realize" is probably the worst part. Man's brain is fried
