Well actually tempo is quite a flexible notion, 140 is also 70, 70 is also 35, 35 could also be 280 for that matter

You've got to lay the drum pattern in a different way.

If you have something like this on 140BPM

This would be the equivalent on 70BPM

It makes no difference but most producers work in double time (140BPM in this case)
