He’s using a browning action pistol that tilts the barrel with each shot, like a Glock. When using suppressors with those pistols you need this thing called a Neilson device, which is basically just a booster spring that absorbs the shock so the barrel can still fully tilt and allow the action to cycle

Without a neilson it basically turns your pistol into a single shot

Most modern striker fired pistols are browning action + he has to clear after each shot because it’s not ejecting the shell or loading a new one

He’s either under qualified or panicked and that’s why he ejected a few live rounds while clearing

That + the overall janky look of the suppressor leads me to believe it’s homemade and he had little to no experience with it prior

Proper hitman woulda either had the booster ready or woulda just used a revolver

that’s what the news is saying so that’s why a lot more people prob believe that (not saying they are right tho)

Subsonic rounds can cause this as well, right? Not creating enough energy to cycle the action. I used to shoot a lot and ran into that when toying around.

This was my first assumption. Using certain grain subsonic ammo can cause rifles and handguns both to struggle with cycling each round. Unless I’m misunderstanding. But knowing that, it would make sense why he was prepared to rack each round manually. Who really knows tho. Could go either way.
