nikedonI mean the nature of the crime they did has some importance in this tbh. Like if you're in jail for a d*** related charge then I'm gonna say free you if i just like your music or your overall vibes as an artist, if you're in jail for like rape or some pedo s*** then i'm gonna need at least a couple great hits before jumping on the wave u feel me?
For example I like Drake and Gunna as artists but I like Drake more. If both of them are in jail for a robbery, then I'm gonna say free both. If they're both in jail for killing a whole family, then I'm gonna say free Drake and I'm gonna grieve for Gunna's victims and call for a swift punishment and justice to be handed out.

Maybe if he’s getting released there’s not enough evidence that he actually did it
i'm NOT agreeing with the person you're arguing with
but if he's getting released, it's most likely on bail
with that being said stuff has looked worse and worse for the prosecution as time went on (especially moreso for Cortlen)
& if they're giving him bail now it may be related to their evidence looking murkier as well

people don’t just get randomly “let out.” It is possible he has a court date and the lawyers submitted a motion to dismiss evidence which in return could make it where there’s no case. If they are anticipating this date, I’m sure the lawyer has reason to feel whatever motions he has submitted will work in his clients case
