This site generally leans hip hop for music tastes which is a relatively newer genre. It could just be that the artists that most of us really followed are legacy acts for the first times.

Maybe someone who’s more into rock or other genres can comment, but it feels like a lot of bands would tour as legacy acts for a while. Hip hop is kind of just coming of age for that.
