I still enjoyed 2 I think I just preferred 3 because it was easier to follow for me and I did find the whole cult thing to be funny. Maybe as I sit with it more read the synopsis of each chapter and better understand it the order will change

The reason my favorite was the second was because it felt like the perfect balance of being a fable and short film whereas the second story could have most definitely been a feature (and would have been a classic).

This whole movie seems odd… not sure why he even made it…? Idk he came off a master piece and this is just so meh and comfortable and safe? Even for someone like Lanthimos. Most of this was just stuff we've already seen before in his films?

Really wanted to like it but yeah idk

But, Yorgos creates something that feels too silly to be profound, and not silly enough to make up for the forced red herrings that turn the film into an increasingly tedious exercise in wankery. I recommend Tim and Eric Bedtime Stories instead if you want examples of how to blend these tones with better focus. Plemons innocent.
